Forehead Lines
Forehead Lines
The frontal lines of the forehead are marked horizontally across the entire area. During aging begins to notice more flaccidity in the skin and when this occurs the (frontalis) contracts to compensate for the decay. The problem when this happens is that wrinkles increase in depth and extension over the years. Preventive treatment helps relax and weaken the muscles in this area preventing further wrinkles from appearing.
Procedure
During the treatment the patient will lay down on the medical chair as comfortable as possible. Anaesthesia is not normally used for toxin injection as it is not a significantly painful procedure. However, depending on the tolerance of the patient, an anaesthetic cream is applied before the procedure. After cleaning the area of the that will be treated, the points where the toxin will be injected are marked with a fine and delicate needle for the greatest possible comfort of the patient.
Aftercare and Results
The results can be seen after the third - fourth day, where more tension will be noticed at the beginning in the infiltrated areas and therefore it will be more difficult to form the wrinkle when contracting the muscles. They may appear "purple" and have some swelling, however this rarely occurs. After 15 days the toxin review will be carried out to correct the details and achieve the best possible result. The duration of the treatment varies between 4 - 6 months depending on the metabolism of each patient.
